Today we’re gonna talk about my journey into church.  Now, I realize “church” can be a very polarizing topic, but I think this podcast truly has something for everyone, no matter how you feel about the issue.  Whether you love church, have major issues with church, or even if you’ve ever had a bad experience and then quit going, there’s something here for you.  Even if you don’t think anything about church at all, but you just like a good story, with entertainment, drama, humor, vulnerability, and compete honesty, you’ve got that here too. 

We constantly hear about the importance of watching what we put into our body, but nobody ever talks about the importance of guarding what we consume with our minds.  Today, we’re going to talk on that. We’ll discuss the science of how our thoughts and behavior can be molded, without our conscious awareness.  We’ll tell a story about our major media companies doing just that.  And, we’ll talk about the many ways that the harmful media we consume can affect us. 

We just finished a very divided presidential election.  I was curious how a nation could get so divided, with so much negative emotion, and with a total inability to either have peaceful conversations, or just say “to each his own”.  So, I wanted to look into that, to understand the psychology behind it, in hopes that it could help me “break the spell” of that division.  One thing I really didn’t expect to find was that, from both psychological and neurological angles… with proven data to back it up… MOST of the time, when it comes to our opinions on things like politics… we’re not really all that knowledgeable about the things we believe.  We’re all just a bunch of idiots, arguing about things we know nothing about!  This is one of those shows, where the research I did was totally eye opening…  and I think you might find this show really eye opening as well.

Language is so useful to society, that the negative side of it is often totally ignored…  and that’s that simple words can really shape our perception, and the framework of our language, can really cage our minds.  Today we’ll discuss the many ways that words and language can do that, while sharing a ton of examples and scientific studies.  We’ll also talk priming, hypnosis power words, neurolinguistic programming, how words can be used to divide and control us, how to spin that for the positive… and much, much more. 

A thought experiment about a possible link between pyramids and the Tower of Babel, leads to a line of thought about how words fall totally short with regards to understanding God. 

Where does our consciousness reside?  Is it in our mind alone, or is it something shared among us all?  Today I will give a well formed and well thought out argument, for a form of consciousness that is not only shared between all humans, but that permeates everything.  

This episode was originally supposed to just be about time, and it is about time, but it also branches off into a number of different areas which which expose major flaws in many things we've been led to believe, and our scientific establishment as a whole.  

Today I want to talk about a way of dealing with EVERY problem we face, as well as our lives in general, that will always end in a win… with love.  This isn’t gonna just be a rah-rah show.  I’m gonna give specific examples.  We’ll talk science.  We’ll also talk metaphysics.  We’ll share scenarios.  We’ll talk philosophy… And I’m going to seriously provide an intelligent argument to convince you that love truly does win, every time.
