Breaking the "life is hard" cycle

Today we’re acknowledging that things can be hard, and validating this with compassion and empathy. And today we’re also acknowledging that while this is true, sometimes we can stay in our sh*t for longer than is necessary. Sometimes we can find it easier to bond over the struggle, and look for reasons why things need to be hard. Sometimes, our ego or subconscious finds ways to make life harder for ourselves, because hard is what we’ve always known. Hard can feel like home. With adrenaline and low level connection being a seemingly positive payoff for creating an ongoing cycle of “life’s hard” for ourselves, it can be hard to break the cycle. Today, I want to talk about how we can do that.
