Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, Chris, and Casey bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. Disney announces final casting for its upcoming live-action-ish(it’s ALL CGI, right?) The Lion King and the it’s AMAZING. Is the House of Mouse shaking down exhibitors and theaters, should it be expected, and is it ok? Then, in other news, it appears that Disney may be taking its Marvel ball and going home. What does a tightening grip on Marvel IPs mean for their multi-media future? Finally, we Rapp about Spacey. Join us and join the conversation.

Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, Chris, and Casey bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. In an effort to prevent stomach aches from too many helpings of that rich BtP content we’re spacing out the eps in a multi-release week. This week your jubilant jabronies are running into the ring, chairs in hands, to give their thoughts on MCU Phase IV, Daredevil season 3, Geoff Johns, Corn Pops, Spider-Man(with or without the hyphen), and other geeky things. All of that amazing content and YOUR misspelled Australian feedback. Join us and join the conversation.

  • Breaking the Panel Ep 94 – “Delivery Delayed”
Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, and Chris bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. Casey’s back and we’re not quite sure ow he got in or how to get him out. Well sugahs, you know we are just goin’ta have ta deal with him. This week we’re not light on topics or discussion. If you suffer from pod envy sit this one out, ‘cause it’s girthy. First we find out that Charles doesn’t quite understand the meaning of the phrase “grossly misquoted.” We talk about the current state of comics distribution thanks to an article by Wizard Magazine alum, Jim McLauchlin. An Australian morning talk makes a big misstep and shows what NOT to do when you have access. When is enough enough when it comes to promoting movies and are we just getting too much?  An X-Men Horror movie? Yes please! Are you all ready to be thankful for the Punisher? Finally, in our continuing efforts to get our content out, to you, as quickly as possible we’re hired HDS to be our official courier and delivery service. What could possibly go wrong with this partnership? Join us and join the conversation.

First, we’re gonna spend some time talkin’ Lego Dimensions and how it stacks up against other toys-to-life. It’s another giant sixed episode as we’re joined by the incomparable TV’s Casey Stroz! We find out that inhumans come from all walks of life and their inhumanity comes in gradients. From those Inhumans that appear on ABC, to those that enjoyed the movie Constantine, to depths with those that prey on Hollywood talent; we’ll talk about them all. Chris Wayback-jacks Peabody and Sherman to travel back to 1996 to see how FOX’s Generation X compares to ABC’s Inhumans  Hulu announces a sizeable price drop, but will their promotion have customers running away from the competition? • Breaking the Panel Ep 92 – “Oh the Inhumanity”
Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, and Chris bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. First, we’re gonna spend some time talkin’ Lego Dimensions and how it stacks up against other toys-to-life. Next we’re moving onto horror, horror-comedy and how Eli Craig is working to save the genre. Then we hear Paul’s confession followed by Charles making “crazy” claims about Alien: Covenant. Chris finds his left and right murder limits with the remake of It. In light of the recent tragedy in Las Vegas, Netflix puts its upcoming release of Marvel’s The Punisher on hold. The Inhumans crashes into our living rooms and we’re looking for someone to save us. If only they were someone out there who would protect us even though they’re hated and feared. Thank you FOX for nailing another small screen X-property. We’ve got thoughts and we’re not afraid to share them. Jeph Loeb may not understand what we’re talking about, but you will. Does Stan “The Man” Lee know something we don’t about X-Men and the MCU; doubtful, but we can hope. Finally, are we at the tipping point of Hollywood comic book-inspired properties? Join us and join the conversation.

  • Breaking the Panel Ep 91 – “The Orville is One Hellboyuva Discovery”
Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, and Chris bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. WOW, join the hosts as they boldly go into one of the longest segments we’ve ever had outside a movie panel show. It’s all about The Orville vs Star Trek: Discovery. We’ll tell you what we think you let us know what we got right or wrong. There are strong opinions voiced, McFall claims a win, and Paul and Sean, #FotS , are not fans of CBS All Access. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is still causing debate with your hosts and one of us has a slight change of heart. Danny Elfman’s recent comments have Chris REALLY worried about some possible musical appropriation and questioning Danny for the first time ever. Finally, Ron Pearlman has something to say about the new Hellboy and…it’s…concise?

  • Breaking the Panel Ep 90 – “Frankie Loves Charlie”
Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, and Chris bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. Happy birthday to Charles as he’s another year older yet seems to regress in wisdom. Netflix launches a new Punisher trailer, and it…is…EPIC! Has Inhumans lost a chance at season 2 before season 1 releases and is that the first thing that Marvel Television has gotten right for this property? Netflix shows ALL the chill in dealing with fans and questionable usages of their IPs. Crime doesn’t pay even if that crime is merely encouraging children to deface their comic books. CW is going dark with another Archie Comics property and we’d like Clarissa to explain it. Toys R Us might be bringing the Toy Run back, only as this time as a fund raising venture.

  • Breaking the Panel Ep 89 – “Fun with Escalators”
Welcome Panelteers, we’re Breaking the Panel! Charles, Paul, and Chris bring you the humor, the fun, and the ever-evolving conversations you’ve come to expect. Sadly, we start off with a somber goodbye to one of the undersung titans of the comic book industry, Mr. Len Wein. If you love Wolverine, Swamp Thing, Human Target, and others; then this passing affects you, despite Charles’s cold dead heart. So, re-read some of your favorite stories with those characters or any of his many, influential runs on other books and honor Len’s life, contributions, and legacy. JJ is back in the Star Wars Universe and he’s gonna bring the Skywalker Saga to a close; May the Force be with him and us all. Hellboy gets a do-over in its casting choices as well as gives us the gift of some stunning visuals of Chief Hopper’s amazing-looking Hellboy. Liam Neeson decides to retire his particular set of skills. No Punisher chocolate in our Defenders peanut butter? Clark Gregg takes after his Phil Coulson persona and becomes Director of Agent of SHIELD.
