Welcome to #Voice2Change, a podcast by Jane Doe No More. In this episode our host Jocelyn Maminta is joined by Jenn Sandholm, a courageous survivor and member of the Jane Doe No More Survivors Speak team. Jenn opens up about her journey—from enduring multiple sexual assaults beginning in childhood, to finding her voice through art, and becoming a conqueror. Jenn shares the importance of reclaiming one’s voice, and the transformative power of sharing your story. Join us for a profoundly moving conversation that sheds light on breaking the silence and finding your voice.
Returning to school later in life as a non-traditional student, Jenn found herself responding to an art assignment rooted in feminist themes. What began as a class project quickly turned into something deeply personal. Her raw experiences and emotions pouring out onto the canvas. The result was a powerful, authentic piece that helped her share her authentic story of abuse.
