Recognizing the signs of toxic relationships. In this episode, we'll be giving some examples of the various forms that abuse can take. Although physical abuse can leave visible proof, there are many other types of abuse that cause a great deal of damage, mentally AND also physically due to a constant stress response. We'll examine some of these types of abuse and shed some light on how they can be disguised as "care or love". Too often, the abuser knows how to exploit their victim's vulnerabilities. By sharing this information, I hope to raise awareness of what abuse can look like, even in its most subtle forms.
