Mari Hamill is the author of the new book Werewolf Nights, an entertaining adventure tale inspired by the power that belief holds over human behavior. The book is filled with insights into the way we act and feel, insights that Mari manifests in her positivity and charm. Her passion for creativity and storytelling shines through the interview.
Mari discusses her upbringing in a community of artists and her impressive academic career. She reveals the inspiration for her book, Werewolf Nights, and discusses the creative process that behind its creation. Her takeaway for listeners is to make a decision about what you want to do, informed by your passions, and begin by taking a concrete step in that direction.
Mari was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She has been writing and studying literature all of her life. After studying English and American Literature at Harvard, she received her Master’s Degree and Ph. D in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan, where she spent time studying abroad in Germany and at the Sorbonne in France. When she’s not writing, she likes to dance and do yoga. Her new book Werewolf Nights is available for purchase online and in bookstores. She is currently working on a screenplay adaptation of the book.

There are so many notions about happiness that have taken us down the wrong path. In many cases people relate happiness to success which simply isn’t true and can ultimately lead to depression. Eric has so many great concepts and frameworks that might just help you see the world in a new way.
Eric teaches executives, managers and employees how to become happier and tap into higher productivity, more engagement and stronger relationships at work and at home.
Eric trained is a scientist at Brown University and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He spent a 15-year career as a management consultant, venture capitalist, and executive in the biopharma industry. He was at the juncture of business and medical science translating complex research to non-scientists in an accessible, dynamic, and thought-provoking way. He has been intensively studying positive psychology (the science of happiness) for over six years under such luminaries as Barbara Fredrickson, Tal Ben-Shahar, Shawn Achor and the late Chris Peterson.
