A sermon looking again at one of the most loved verses in the Bible: John 3v16 - For God so loved the world.

God's invisible qualities have been made plain to us through the things that he has made. God is our creator, and he is the creator of the universe. We need to stay in the place where we are in awe of the wonder of creation - it points us to God.

The Bible says that 'the life is in the blood'. This is the very reason why the blood of Jesus is so powerful. Through his blood that was shed for us on the cross we receive his life - eternal life. There is power in the blood!

God has given us all a set amount of time. It is not very long in the face of eternity. What will you do with it? God gave it to you - use it for his glory.

In a world where so many people struggle over their identity the Bible has much to say about those who are born again. An understanding of what the Bible says about who we are will keep us free from an 'identity crisis' and leave us empowered to serve the kingdom with confidence.

A great message on how many people are looking for alternative ways of having a spiritual encounter and ways in which we can engage them with the gospel. It includes Simone's testimony of how she came out of that world.

When Jesus set out for Jerusalem to face the cross the Bible says that he resolved to go there, or he 'fixed his face'. To do great things for the kingdom involves sacrifice on our part and we need to learn the power of resolve. Jesus focused on the joy set before him and this is where his resolve came from. Are we focused on the same or do we only see the trials we are facing now?

In this sermon the contrast between Samuel and Samson is highlighted showing how we need to walk faithfully with God and use our gifts for his glory.

There are various places where Jesus speaks of people who think they will inherit the kingdom but in fact will not. This shows the importance of seeking the kingdom only and to uphold and maintain the truth of God's word. Kingdom only.
