“You asked, do you want to live your next four years like this? And I was like, no, I don't, and you were the first breast cancer survivor I talked to that, didn't really talk about breast cancer survivory. I can't even explain it.”
“You have to do the things that are in this course and, just continue them through your life. So you can have this calmness, but then you've got tools that when life gets anxious and crazy, you can always come back to it,”

“I thought it was going to be super easy to just go onto Google and look for a young breast cancer women in the Boston area, being a metropolitan area with access to some of the amazing hospitals that we have here. And I was shocked how hard it was to find people to talk to.”

Decide that life after breast cancer can be whatever you want it to be.
Lea said:
“It’s really interesting because people always say, you know, like how traumatic must that have been to be diagnosed with stage four cancer. And as it was, you know, there's nothing kind of, there's nothing nice about that. But at the same time for me, it was, it was a really welcome change to the lifestyle that I've been living.”
“I think that was one of the penny drop moments for me, where I was like, wow, that's insane. Like, cause that is so me, I genuinely voiced like, I'm I wasn't angry. I wasn't, you know, there wasn't any, I wasn't sad. I was genuinely frustrated. Like I always used to feel like there was some, there was something inside of me that I wasn't allowing to come out. Like almost like this feeling of being like trapped inside myself, if that makes sense. And I think that human design just really allowed me to kind of let that out and to be like, okay, this is who I'm supposed to be.”

“So even just like how to set up sacred space because bringing some kind of meditation or way of prayer into our life. It just solidifies and sort of anchors in what our prayers are, what our intentions are. So just like how to set up a simple, sacred space, how to set, how to set up and use an altar. Um, it works with the directions because shamanism is very connected to nature, to the directions and to the elements.”
“We all have the ability to do this type of shamanic work. It doesn't mean we're meant to work with clients, but, but work for work on ourselves and our own energy fields. And so I believe we all have the ability to, you know, work with what you would call the unseen invisible realms.”

“So we can even just remove the labelling of the fear completely and just look at the frequency itself and say, I need to trust that the earth provides for me. I need to trust that I will survive. I need to just get outside, let the frequency of the earth come up into my body and shift my energy. And that starts to shift away from that heavier frequency of these fears so that sometimes we don't even have to go deeper into them.”
“And one of those shifts is the overthinking that we start to do right within this need to have these answers a big reason why we struggled to find them is that we're overthinking and we're overthinking from a very human-based place. Right? So we're overthinking our fears, right? Leading us into worrying about a lot of things and worry is the realm of imagination.”

When you start doing things out of love for yourself, not out of fear, it just changes your energy. It just changes your vibration.

“My transformations, I feel, came more from some of the emotional work that we did and the limiting beliefs and things than it did. Then just solely through the changes in diet and things like that.”
“It's hard stuff to go through, um, to deal with the emotions and the journaling prompts in this course. Um, I mean, there were times where it would take me, I'd have to take me like five or six attempts to get through some of the modules. Like I couldn't do it all at one time because it brought up so much stuff.”

I am super excited today because we are joined by Tina Conrad, DJ breast cancer today. You may know her from Instagram, Tina is such a source of light and positivity in our beautiful breast cancer community here. This conversation is all about faith which is such an important part of my life, but it wasn't always that way. I share my story with my faith, how I went from not having a practice, to having a really deep connection with the universe God's source my creator. It was such a really great conversation because we have different vehicles to practice our faith, but it's the same result.

You have to let go of the old, to create space for the new, and there's something that's so powerful about letting go and surrendering to a higher power outside of you.
Tina said:
“My mom was diagnosed when I was in my young twenties. I think I was 25 and that really pulled our family all together, but then she had a recurrence about three years later and it really made me angry and it really kind of for a time severed my ties maybe to some of that faith. I think there is something about, you know, the faith that you grow up with, but then the faith that you find when you're an adult and I can be very moved now.”
“But now I truly feel if I can help one more person, see God, the way that I see them too, you know, then I'm really making a difference in this world. So if anyone has any questions or wants to reach out or, you know, Even wants to have a debate. Like I welcome it. Um, you know, I just think it's, it's great to have conversations about faith and be, and be transparent about who you are.”
