In honor of Mother’s Day, I decided to take the opportunity to interview the two most special and valuable people in my world. Listen to this incredibly sweet and soulful episode to get a glimpse of what the world looks like in the eyes of a 4 and 7 year old.
Are you looking to find more happiness in life – especially in the present moment? Are you waiting for something to happen before you feel that you can be happy? What if I told you that you already have all you need to be happy? Happiness starts within you, and Rob Mack is here to tell you how to get there! Listen in on this incredible conversation I had with Rob to find out what true happiness means, and how you can start putting your happiness first to get the life you deserve.
My favorite quote from this episode:
“Meditation gives you roots,
Love gives you wings”
Rob Mack is a happiness coach and author of “Happiness from the Inside Out: The Art and Science of Fulfillment”. In addition to being a celebrity love coach for the television show “Famously Single” on E! and being endorsed by Oprah and Vanessa William among others, Robert has been a featured guest expert for shows like the Today Show, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, the CBS Early Show, the Balancing Act, AskHer.com, as well as magazines like Self, Health, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Upscale. Robert got his Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Swarthmore College and his Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League degree held by only a few dozen people in the world.
Join me and my guest Cheryl Harris, MPH, RD who has trained extensively in mindfulness and mindful eating. Join us on this soulful conversation about the intersection between mindfulness, digestion, and autoimmune health.
Mindful eating is an approach to food that focuses on individuals’ sensual awareness of the food and their experience of the food. It has little to do with calories, carbohydrates, fat, or protein. The intention is to help individuals savor the moment and the food and encourage their full presence for the eating experience.

Among the many crises COVID-19 has dragged along with it, domestic violence is another public health concern we are facing which seems to be flourishing in the conditions created by the pandemic.
With the efforts that are believed to keep the virus from spreading, the lockdown many of us are all experiencing has created a surge in violence as families and those who share homes are spending more time together.
My guest today has written two books: "Escaping the Boy: My Life with a Sociopath" and "Unashamed Voices: True Stories Written by Survivors of Domestic Violence, Rape and Fraud Exposing Sociopaths in Our Midst".

Are you feeling “pandemic panic”? COVID-19 has got many of us feeling anxious and overwhelmed. What if I told you there is a way to rise above the fear? What if we could tune into a deeper truth behind what we are experiencing today? What if we could reframe this experience as an opportunity to look inward and seek self-growth? Today’s guest Bhante Rahula, is here to help us do exactly that.
