Breathe Easy can add a surprising amount of value to your life.
I doubt I am in the typical demographic for this kind of book. I donât do yoga and before reading this, I didnât really meditate. I first became interested in the topic of breathing when I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I realized the impact that breathing had on the quality of my sleep. I also realized that my problems breathing were not confined to when I was asleep. So, I casually looked for resources to better understand how I breathed and the effects of my breathing. Sadly, most of what I found read like textbooks for a yoga master or a doctor of some kind. I am neither of those things. Nor do I have any plans on becoming either one. Breathe Easy is everything that those other books werenât.
Breathe Easy isnât intimidating in any way. It felt comfortable to read and to practice the methods that it walks you through. Honestly, it felt as if an old friend was guiding me. The writing and instructions were simple and easy to follow. Moreover, I found that the book was very accessible both figuratively and literally. What I mean is, the language was clear and straightforward (with photos to boot) and the eBook format made it easy for me to take with me wherever I go. I find this invaluable as the practices in the book are not âexercisesâ or âchoresâ that are to be done under a strict schedule or agenda. The wisdom shared in this book is easy to weave into all functions of your life.
I guess that leads me to my main point. Breathe Easy is affordable and the techniques are easy. Without having to invest a great deal of time, effort, or money, the wisdom in Breathe Easy can add a surprising amount of value to your life. I came to this book looking to improve my physical health through better breathing. I am grateful to say I have gained that and plus some peace of mind.
