Colossians 3 instructs us to clothe ourselves with kindness which, when translated from it's original language, means sinking into a garment or fully immersing in water. Even the kindest of people are prone to taking off their kindness, especially when behind the wheel of a car! Rachel encourages us to be kind on every occasion, especially when no one is watching or listening. She also challenges us to show unusual kindness, much like the islanders showed Paul when he was shipwrecked in Acts 28.

No matter who we are, we can all relate to anxiety, including Adam and Even who hid themselves from God (Genesis 3:9-10). Ethan encourages us that peace is found in a person - Jesus - and it was his punishment that brought us peace (Isaiah 53:4-5). Even if the worst-case scenario happens, God can give us shalom peace.

During our All In Service on Sunday 27th July, Ben Hodgson shares about the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12). In Romans 12:4-5, we learn that we are one body (unison) made up of many different parts (unique). We all belong to each other (unity) and we all have a special function (useful). Rob Pitts shares seven ways to be far-reaching in the context of our corporate fruitfulness, for example by investing in people, sharing the Good News and partnering with global mission projects. In order to do this, we need to live a life of surrender like the Apostle Paul and remain in the grapevine, Jesus (John 15). In this message, guest speaker Dr Glenn Balfour (Missio Dei College, Assemblies of God UK) defines fruitfulness as doing something useful. Fruitfulness demands a good source, good preparation and plenty of hard work. God works through or effort and ensure that our labour is not in vain (2 Timothy 2:6).
