In this devotion, Jeremy challenges us to consider the cost of following Jesus, and as a bonus, he gives us insight into what "fishing for men" is all about.

He shares the story about Jesus not only having the power to heal man's body but also the authority to heal a man's soul by forgiving his sins.

This is the third devotion from those students taking the "How to give a devotion" class at The Harbor Church. This devotion is from the Gospel of Mark 1:29-31 by Bob Hartman. He shares that while we often rely on our own remedies when we get sick, we often times completely forget to call on Jesus for healing.

He compares and contrasts leprosy with sin. At the close of his devotion, he shows how just as Jesus was able to cleanse a leper, he's also able to cleanse us of our sins - if we only ask.
