Mendez was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, which left him without arms or legs. Mendez didn’t allow his differences to limit him, though, and developed a passion for coaching by learning the game of football by playing Madden video games.

With a dream of one day becoming a head football coach, Mendez worked for years as an assistant at various schools, until he was finally given the opportunity he’d been working for. Mendez took over as the coach for Prospect High’s JV team and led his players to an incredible 8-2 season.

Myron Rolle (born October 30, 1986) is a Bahamian American neurosurgery resident and retired football safety. He played college football at Florida State and was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He attended the Florida State University College of Medicine and is a neurosurgery resident at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Houston, TX, and is on the front lines fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alex hosts Inky Johnson - an American motivational speaker and former college football player. His football career ended in 2006 at the University of Tennessee with an injury that permanently paralyzed his right arm. Johnson went on to study psychology and is now a motivational speaker at schools, community centers, and ceremonies throughout the United States. He has been the keynote speaker at numerous events, including the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
