Bret Rosenthal launched his career in the late 1980’s in New York Cit y with Lehman Brothers and then moved on to Prudential Securities and Wachovia. During this time he mentored under the watchful eye of his father, Gary Rosenthal, with whom he still works today. The Rosenthal Group managed one of the most successful private client businesses in the country at all three firms, an achievement which was documented in the book The Winner’s Circle, by R.J. Shook.
Bret began building trading systems in the late 1990’s. In 2001 the Rosenthal Group fully implemented Bret's first successful algorithmic system, P.A.C.E. (Proprietary Analyses and Computer Enhancement), throughout their entire client structure. In succeedin g years the acronym has evolved and while the employed tools have become exceedingly enhanced the core of the original P.A.C.E. system lives on in the strategies and systems of today’s rcmTradingDesk.
