This is the crazy story of my 85 hour journey back from South America after an epic bike trip with Haku Expeditions in Ecuador.  Missed planes, random security checks, customs officers who were mountain bikers and great new friends were all part of it!

Ken Achenbach is an innovator and inventor who has changed the course of action sports and influenced countless legendary figures we all know today. He opened the world's first snowboard shop, and for 28 years ran the Camp of Champions in Whistler. CoC spawned countless, Olympic and XGames, ski and snowboards medalists as well as a generation of mountain bikers who went on to heavily influence their sports!

Anthony Napolitan is a BMX World Champion, Dew Tour Champ and XGames medalist who is switching his skills to Mountain Biking. Well, maybe not fully switching but he's really enjoying spending time on the big bikes.

Ale Di Lullo is one of the premier photographers in MTB and is a great friend. He's shot with virtually everyone and has been published in almost every bike magazine on the planet. He's worked with a huge list of commercial clients and has won many photo competitions including Crankworx Deep Summer, The WSSF Pro Photographer Showdown and Red Bull Illume just to name a few!

Mark Weir is unafraid to speak his mind and share a story which is why he's a perfect guest for the Brett Tippie Podcast. The California native is an enduro legend, winning the Downieville Downhill eight times. He tells us about his house burning down, riding a million vertical feet in a year, almost dying from a tree falling on him and again from a potential heart attack! This is another episode with the energy and perspective you'll only get with an old friend of Tippie. 

Fraser Newton embodies the role as one of the most revered people in biking. The expert mechanic. Growing up in rural Ontario, Fraser had no choice but to fix his bikes when they broke and was so good at it he eventually got paid to do it by age 13. Since then he's become the head mechanic at BC Bike, worked extensively with Anthill films and has filled many roles, fixed many more problems and has the stories to go along with them.

Dave Watson is another character from the early days of freeride who pushed limits and laid the foundation for today's riders. He was a Canadian National Downhill Champion, filmed for numerous film series including Kranked, he famously jumped his bike over the Tour de France and was a co-founder of Sombrio, bike gear for the spirit of freeride.

Dustin Adams is the CEO of We Are One Composites and is an accomplished OG shredder too! We talk to Dustin about his early days on a bike including poaching the shoot for Kranked and getting into the movie. Dustin is a guy who marches to the beat of his own drum and is unafraid of a challenge. Even if that means starting over from scratch, which he has done more than once, in business and in life. He says he's not much of a team guy and yet, we learn that he has a pretty amazing team of people working with and supporting him at We Are One.

Richie Schley is here!  He is one of the most important figures in freeride MTB history.   Entered together as members of the The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame with fellow Fro-Rider, Wade Simmons, the three of them make up the first freeride mountain bike team.  Richie has been friends with Brett since they were getting kicked out of class in elementary school and have had countless adventures, rides and laughs since.

Reece Wallace is an ex Slopestyler, Rampager and Team Giant Freerider. I went to his house on Vancouver Island where he tells us about his early days in Whistler, while simultaneously attending University, before he started to really make a name for himself. He talks about his Rampage experience, a scary neck injury, learning to fly his own plane and much more!
