Today's Brevis Talk is about an inmate that I knew for many years (17). He is with the Lord now. Despite many challenges in his life, he was a witness for Christ.

Today we speak about my encounter with an individual who seems to be hell bent on being hell bound.

In a bit of a rambling storyline, I tell about a man who couldn't stay out of the "hole," trying the loaf, and God's guidance.

There were 2 old men living next to one another in a maximum security prison. They were both serving life sentences for murder. One of them trusted the Lord for his salvation. The other had a hard heart and never humbled himself.

I recount a small portion of the strangest man I’ve ever met. He said of himself, “I’m a monster.” His life was turbulent and violent. The Lord Jesus Christ pierced the dark demonic life that he lived. 

The Holy Spirit leads the Christian. We must listen and obey. The story of Philip and the Ethiopian official is a beautiful picture of obedience and the fruit that comes from it.

A west Texas farmer struggled with the land in his efforts to provide for his family. He was a man of few possessions. Then, a gentleman visited his farm and spoke to him about exploratory drilling for oil. Oil was found on the farmer's property and it provided for him. 

The farmer was wealthy all along. The oil belonged to him, but he was unaware of it. Many believers are unaware of their riches in the Lord.

We are rich in Christ Jesus! Ephesians 1 reads like the description of a title deed.
