Happy Holidays and Happy Hanukkah to our fine kosher brethren! To celebrate our most favorite time of the year, we gathered the Jewish Council together to bring you a review of a film that single-handedly may kill your liver this holiday season! Grab your Manischewitz and join us as we review The Hebrew Hammer!
Happy Turkey Day, everybody! In honor of everlasting traditions, we proudly bring to you a film review for the whole family...or at least the ones who live forever! That's right, this week, the Brew Dudes sent down to wax poetic and drink heartily while talking about the comic book turned film, The Old Guard! Also, from our family to yours, we hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving and enjoy listening to this absolutely drunken episode of Brews and Reviews!
Happy Halloween, our fellow Brew Dudes! In honor of spooky season coming to a close and the holiday rush coming upon us, we decided to end this year's Octoberfest on the night many have been waiting all year for. So, how do we end this year's ode to the horror genre off? I'm glad you asked; we are covering a film so darkly comedic that even we had to sober up to discuss it! I hope you're ready for a fun one as we settle in to celebrate Halloween and discuss Tragedy Girls!
Well hello there, intrepid listener! For Week 3 of Octoberfest, we've decided to give you something so off the walls that even we didn't know what to expect. Hold on to you guitar picks because this week, the Brew Dudes are covering 2022's Studio 666!
For Week 2 of Octoberfest, we decided to kick it old school with a hint of new school by covering the reboot/remake/sequel-re-sequel (it's a thing; the movie says so) that brought back our original crew and, again, asked the question, "Do you like scary movies?" This week, the Brew Dudes cover Scream 2022!
It's the high holy holiday month for us here at the Brews and Reviews podcast: it's Oktoberfest! Part ode to the horror genre, part legitimate excuse to get absolutely blitzed; it truly is the most wonderful time of the year! To start off Week 1 of Oktoberfest, we have decided to do what every group of 30 somethings is doing this week: we are watching the newly released Hocus Pocus 2! So, grab your favorite witch's brew and get ready to go down memory lane with us as we review a film thirty years in the making!
Holy snap, Deadpool! We're back! After some technical difficulties, moves across the country, and trips through space and time, the Brew Dudes have returned just in time to drop a review about light sabers, the forces of good and evil, and the power of playing catch with your Dad! So, to welcome us back, grab your favorite brew, and sit down to listen to us review The Adam Project!
The story of black women's contribution to the sciences often go unheralded but not today! Not on the Brews and Reviews podcast! Please join us as we sit down to discuss a movie that not only puts a light on the mother's of the space race but also conveys an important message about never looking down on someone just because they are different. We hope you'll enjoy our coverage of Hidden Figures!
Sorry for the interruption folks, we were having some minor difficulties considering Ant-Man stole our equipment! Now that we've managed to get it back, we are happy to bring you the third and final week of this years Marvel Madness as we review 2015's Ant-Man!
*We apologize for the lateness of the episode. Personal issues, work, and life in general got in the way. However, we are back now! For this month only, the podcast will update on the 2nd and 4th week. We will return back to our normal posting schedule in May!*
It's Week 2 of Marvel Madness and the Brew Dudes are joined by friend of the podcast and fellow podcaster, Bliss, from the Bliss Fully Aware podcast, to discuss a film that spent ten plus years in creative hell only to arrive on the scene and ignite the direct to stream war that we are all currently living in: Black Widow!
