Villain 50/50
Episode 5
An industrial duo, consisting of Fransico Pineiro and Andrew DeSanctis, hailing from Erie, PA Fransico describes the project as, "a musical argument with self and others about perspectives that are seemingly never ending. It’d rarely be one thing or a singular view. Weaknesses could be strengths just as much as strengths could weaknesses, right or wrong is often a matter of perception. It’s an expression of conflict for better or worse.”

Obscene
Episode 6
Hailing from Indianapolis, IN and after impressing with their 2018 demo, ‘Sermon to the Snake,’ Obscene make their LP debut with a renewed sense of ruthless aggression in ‘The Inhabitiable Dark.’ They entered Earth Analog Studios in Tolono, IL in summer of 2018 to lay down 8 tracks of death metal fury. Not adhering to any sort of ‘caveman’ or ‘cavernous’ trend in the current climate, this album harkens back to the early FL and Dutch death metal scene as well as nods to U.K., Scandinavia, New York, touches vicious thrash and riff oriented traditional heavy metal to go along with an unhinged acidic vocal style. Artwork provided by cult artist and legendary great, Mark Riddick in one of his best works. Come with Obscene down in the Inhabitable Dark.

Bakasura
Episode 7
Bakasura is a four-piece Blackened Deathcore band from Pittsburgh PA. Our style borrows heavily from the cold guitar tones that Black Metal has popularized, while also creating a fresh sound of crushing breakdowns and fast-paced riffs. Our debut EP titled Beckoning Our Annihilation offers something for fans of black metal as well as deathcore, while also creating themes inspired by the Hidetaka Miyazaki game Bloodborne.

Narwhal Bloodbath
Episode 8
Narwhal Bloodbath is a Metalcore band From Bradford PA.
Devin and Jesse wanted to start a band in 2016, later we found Mark and Chris and Narwhal Bloodbath was born. The entire project was centered around the idea of putting fun back into metal. We didn't want to take ourselves too seriously, or be just another depressing heavy band, so we started writing songs about pastafarianism, Black beard, Gengis Khan, and other ridiculous topics. Thematic and fun is and always will be our mantra.

Haine
Episode 9
Haine started off in late 2017 by Claudio (bass,) and the then original guitarist, who recruited Chris (vocals) and Konrad (drums). All members have quite a longstanding role in the Maltese local metal scene with other acts such as Abysmal Torment, ClubMurder, Repugnance and Fallen Icon and it was time for a Maltese band to venture into deathcore territory, which was quite lacking at that point. The “project” soon cemented itself as an up and coming band in the local metal scene and after the first the band had a line up-change in mid-2019 with James and Jack joining as permanent guitarists. The band immediately started working on the first debut self-titled EP, which has been recently released in January 2021. The aim of the band has always been to forgo all perceived notions and pre-existing scene stereotypes to create their own brand of extreme music and most importantly, to play some crushing breakdowns! Haine’s music is a reflection of such a great opportunity to take on diverse musical influences and merge them into a new sound. This has resulted in deeply layered sound combining heavy grooves and innovative breakdowns punctuated by melodic overtones. Despite Haine having deep-roots within the Deathcore approach to music writing, the aim has always been to come up with a new and fresh take on an ever-evolving style of music.
