BRF Barf

An episode of singing and inspiration meant to leave you with the warm fuzzies.

Anne and Lauren talk about getting more women in the sports and endeavors they’re involved in: opportunities they’re excited about, and some of their own fears.

Anne did it. She completed 340 miles of the Sheltowee Trace Trail and became the first female to do so.

Fall is here and so is the beginning of our orienteering season! We talk about 2 orienteering events we participated in and also just generally fart about this episode.

Lauren ran her 6th Barkley Fall Classic. In this episode, she walks, runs, and quad blow-outs us through her race.

Mikaela Osler just set a new Self Supported FKT on the Colorado Trail. We wanted to hear all about it and ask her the important questions. Like WTF, CLIF BARS? The Colorado Trail is in Ute land. If you enjoy this episode, please consider making a donation to Ute PAC using the links in our social media bios.

How to get started in running, biking, orienteering, and adventure racing. Plus, what it was like for us when we were beginners.

We talk about dumb sh*t giving us joy these days.

Laura Comtois joins us for a special race recap of each of our attempts at The Lockdown AR, a virtual event created by Rootstock Racing. 21 hours of racing by bike, boat, rollerblades, and… dance?

**NOTE: There are some audio quality issues for Anne on this episode.

Some general chatting and an epiphany that Adventure Race Nationals are less than 3 months away!
