stambhādy-antaritāḥ satyo

devyo ’tiṣṭhan prabhu-priyāḥ

satyabhāmā na tatrāgāt

tāṁ kṛṣṇo ’pṛcchad uddhavam

 

The beloved queens of the Lord stayed hidden behind objects such as columns, not approaching Him. But Satya­bhāmā had not come there with the others, so Kṛṣṇa asked about her from Uddhava.
