Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 1 Chapter 7 Text 99


ata eva mayā svasya
sthitim apy asthiteḥ samām
dṛṣṭvā na gamyate tatra
śṛṇv arthaṁ yuṣmad-udvahe
 

TRANSLATION

Therefore My staying with them would be equal to My absence. Realizing this, I have not returned there. Now hear the real reason I married you.
