At 10 am, the Medical Society will be presenting before the Public Health Committee on the value of the newly created Health Information Exchange (called CTHealthLink), which is essentially a super-highway of protected, secured electronic medical records that can be safely accessed by any doctor at any time. CTHealthLink was formed (in part by the Medical Society) in 2017 and now medical practices, the state and others are signing up for it.
