Brian Nichols was on trial for the rape of his ex-girlfriend.  During the trial he manages to escape custody and proceed to go on a murder spree.  Multiple lives were lost, until one brave woman decided to try to end this rampage.  Our friends Danielle and Megan over at Crime and Roses sent us this case recommendation.
