In this episode with an absent Caleb, and after a brief introduction talking about the lately-deceased Hitchbot, Andrew and Brian talk about Homer's epic poem "The Iliad," how they chose their translations, what surprised them, and epic scenes they love.

There really isn't a great description for this episode... It goes all over the place, including some topics we fail to avoid. We eventually get it back on track by talking about hiking, literature, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the morality of doing bad things for the greater good.

Brian confesses his love for Anime, and Caleb reveals himself for a terrible Star Trek fan, and Andrew think Epstein didn't kill himself.

This episode is dedicated to Caleb's favorite Attic Dweller and our faithful Patreon subscriber, Brendan, also known as Greymane24. In our crazy Christmas Special, we only barely avoid talking about Denis Villeneuve's Dune. Instead, we manage to eke out random opinions on the topics of Batman, worst Christmas movies, best Christmas movies, and what we look forward to in the coming year, and a whole lot of other random subject in between. Merry Christmas!

Andrew was sick again for this episode, so we are back to discussing Denis Villeneuve's Dune, but this time with guest co-host Stephen sharing his opinions on the movie as well. We also return to the topic Caleb's brought up at the end of "Discussing Dune (2021) Part One" concerning what the next movie will be like and what we expect or hope from it.

Thanks for joining part Two of our discussion on Denis Villeneuve's Dune! We apologize that we do not actually discuss Dune all that much. Instead, Brian goes on a long tangent about what happened with the Hobbit trilogy. Perhaps you'll get some interesting cinema opinions of ours along the way.

This week Brian, Andrew, and Caleb discuss Denis Villeneuve's Dune. Major spoilers ahead. Caleb thinks J.K. Rowling wrote The Hunger Games. Andrew thinks Baron Harkonnen is better portrayed as a gay pedophile. And Brian is the only one of the three of them that has any sense (although he does need to make the clarification that music and sound mixing fall under the umbrella of sound design, but I'm sure listeners are smart enough to figure out what he's trying to say).

Many apologies for the sound quality—I (Brian) was trying something new and it didn't work.
Brian questions Andrew on his assertion from Season 1 that good people should seek power so evil people don't get it first. Brian brings up Tolkien and the Ring of Power and how Gandalf's rejection of it influences Andrew's opinion on power.

On this week's episode of Brian's Attic (now in stereo audio!), Brian and Andrew are once again joined by Stephen to have a PopTart tasting. What's a PopTart Tasting? Well, you'll soon find out. We lots of PopTarts, and Andrew decides not to eat PopTarts again for a very long time.
Disclaimer: NO PopTarts went to waste in the making of this episode (except that maybe we ate more than we probably should have in one sitting).

Stephen guest co-hosts once again. This time, Brian asks them to ask him the questions—the questions of life. We quickly derail to other topics, like Munchhausen's Syndrome and the death penalty, while Stephen demonstrates for us the worst censoring job ever.
