Medicinal Cannabis is an industry on the move and it is coming to our region.

We have all heard about the one that got away. But this story is a bit different. It is about the one that didn't get away.

Anthony Cass has been chasing the big one for nearly 10 years and has been a. keen fisherman for most of his life.

The big one for Anthony was a 170cm Giant Trevally (GT) caught off Moreton Island. Many people that fish for this type of fish have big boats and crews. Anthony has a 15ft boat, himself, his gear and his camera.

We talk about the day, what it meant to him and the fight pulling it in - a fish nearly as big as him.

When you are Mayor of the 7th biggest council in QLD for 8 years you know what you are talking about and that is why we loved interviewing Joy Leishman.

As the last Caboolture Mayor (2000-2008) prior to amalgamation in 2008 we talk with Joy about her time as Mayor, the amalgamation process and if it actually did what it was supposed to do.

Joy also shares with us about her two terms as a Caboolture Councillor, we talk about the Noosa de-amalgamation and a few other things as well!! Thanks Joy. It was a real pleasure.

The idea to equip, train and support Hairdressers and Barbers to help those that are suffering from domestic violence and elder abuse. It is important to note they are not trained as a DV worker or support worker.

It is always an honour to interview someone that you have looked up to your whole life and this was the case with our recent interview with Kay McGrath.

A real QLD icon and so well known for being the face of Ch7 news for many years. Since stepping away from that role Kay remains very busy with her roles in a number of organisations including The Daniel Morcombe Foundation, Protect All Children, Act for Kids and The Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Council.

We were fortunate to talk with Kay about domestic violence and her role as Co-Chair of The Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Council. It was a pleasure to have you on the show Kay.
