On episode 5 of Bricks, I talk to Courtnay Malcolm. Courtnay is a Halifax based coach, teacher, artisan and certified life coach at the centre for applied neuroscience. She owns her own life-coaching business called Malcolm Mindset. We talk about her experience with rugby coaching, her work teaching in a formal education system, and the application of neuroscience and neuroplasticity in her work and life.

I welcome Rebecca Thomas. Rebecca is a writer, speaker and activist, originally from New Brunswick, Canada, but now living and working in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Having completed a Masters Degree in Social Anthropology at Dalhousie University, Rebecca has made a role for herself as an advocate of the rights and the land of the indigenous Mi'kmaq people through poetry. We talk about Rebecca's advocacy and her view as an indigenous Canadian woman.

Doctor of Philosophy, Megan Dean, joins me to discuss her current work with the ethics of eating. We talk about the meaning of the activity of eating, and why we should reconsider how our eating habits key into our lives.
