Bridal Cry Ministries

Takeaways

• The will is the master of the man and represents who we fundamentally are.
• Salvation involves surrendering our self-will and uniting ourselves to God's will.
• We need to learn to conform our will to God's will and make choices based on obedience, even when we don't feel like it.
• The Bible is not just a list of things to do, but a revelation of God's will and a guide for our lives.
• Dividing the soul from the spirit and submitting our will to God is essential for entering the kingdom of heaven. Dividing the soul and discerning between doing things in the name of God versus following the leadership of God is crucial for Christian living.
• We need to submit our wills to God and allow Him to lead us, rather than relying on our own self-will.
• Busy Christianity, where good ideas are done for God without His sanction, is a prevalent issue in Western culture.
• Abiding in Christ and being conquered and humbled are essential for truly following God's will.
• Seasons of isolation and correction are necessary for growth and submission to God's leading.

5. Confronting our depravity and selfish ambition is necessary for unity with Christ.

• Being the church does not automatically make one the bride of Christ; active choice and ongoing readiness are required.
• The preparation of the bride involves making active choices, pursuing intimacy with Christ, and putting on the new self.
• The paradox of faith and works is important to understand, as it involves surrendering and yielding one's life to Christ while also making efforts to walk worthy of the calling.
• The bride's preparation is not about earning salvation, but about aligning oneself with the will of God and allowing His grace to empower the process.
• Laboring for readiness and entering into the rest of Christ are ongoing endeavors that require continual choice and effort. The Ark of Salvation is secure, but individuals must choose to enter and stay in it.
• Becoming the bride of Christ requires a response to God's grace and a willingness to be sanctified.
• The bride's preparation is a corporate calling, and unity among believers is essential.
• Faith and revelation are necessary for understanding and embracing the bride's calling.
• There is an urgency to prepare for Christ's return and to walk worthy of the bride's calling.
