Torah portion reading Deut 26:1-29:8
Haftorah portion reading Isaiah 60:1-22
Brit Hadasha reading Matthew 25:1-46
Yeshua rejected the 5 foolish virgins because they didn’t know him intimately. Though they had salvation, they did not know to follow His Torah. Yeshua took the five wise virgins to be his bride. They loved him and they were keeping His Torah and Yeshua knows them initimate.
In Matthew 7:23 it is written:
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The word “iniquity” in the Greek is: anomia, and it means: the condition of being without the law/Torah
Yeshua gave the Torah at Mt Sinai. This was the marriage covenant given to the house of Jacob. To step into that marriage covenant is to follow/obey the Torah by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
