Leprosy was associated with being unclean (tame). We can become unclean physically, but it is also connected to being unclean spiritually. A skin problem can be tied to a “sin” problem and a “mouth” problem. It is significant that when the man of Gadarenes was delivered of his host of unclean spirits, that the unclean spirits went into a herd of swine, an unclean animal. A person with unclean thoughts/emotions can become “unclean” (tame).

The solution to this problem is to repent.
