One of our values is the Bible: We will read it, wrestle with it, and allow its truth to form who we are and how we act. We're reading through the Bible together every 3 years.

In a world without Jesus, there is no church; there is no place on earth where we see and experience the presence of Jesus on earth.

The church, the presence of Jesus on Earth, is the place and the people and the practice of peace of earth (it is peace on earth!), of good will to others. The church is the presence of the kingdom of God, the new community in Jesus, where the poor and battered are cared for and sustained, where the knowledge of God fills the earth, a place where God embraces and loves and forgives and empowers, a place where we are collaborating with God to make all things new. This is not a world without Jesus!

We are sinners. We cannot say that we are part sinner and part Saint.  Nor can we say that sometimes I’m a sinner and sometimes I’m a saint.  We are at the same time Saint and Sinner.
