We're continuing our Unstoppable series in Acts. Sunday we were in Acts 8:25–40. Our big idea was: When the Spirit lines up the events, we must “run” and respond by following these examples of obedience to the Holy Spirit.

This week’s message outlines what happens when we change God’s Word to support our ideas, not His. When we pick, choose, or modify it to fit our personal agendas. It loses its meaning and purpose. It’s amazing the lengths we’ll go to when we’re convinced that what we’re doing is right. But what happens when we realize that what we’ve been doing is wrong? The leaders in Acts 5:22-42 were certain that persecuting Jesus’ followers was the right thing to do.
