Since the partnership began, Bridgend College has given out over 200 FREE reusable eco packs to students across college and continues to educate and empower students and staff to be more sustainable.

Mae’r podlediad yma’n trafod “achub y byd, un mislif ar y tro”. Mae Coleg Penybont wedi partneru â’r busnes lleol Silly Panda a’r elusen Wings Cymru fel rhan o fenter y’i hariennir gan Lywodraeth Cymru i helpu i roi terfyn ar dlodi mislif. Ers i’r bartneriaeth gychwyn, mae Coleg Penybont wedi darparu dros 200 eco-becyn amldro AM DDIM i fyfyrwyr ar draws y Coleg, ac mae’n parhau i addysgu a grymuso myfyrwyr i fod yn fwy cynaliadwy.

The G.R.L Society is a group of inspiring women that support and advocate for women’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. This group provides peer to peer support to empower women to be all that they can be. The group began as a pilot to trial eco-friendly sanitary products as part of a Welsh Government funded initiative to try to help end period poverty. From this, we have been able to give out 200+ eco-friendly sanitary packs to students across campus, introducing alternative ways towards sustainability.
