In the final week of Get Dusty, Joel talks about how we can get dusty in our relationships. Jesus set an example by loving everyone, including people he didn't agree with and people who were outcasts. Let's make sure our tables and circles are filled with people who don't look and believe like us.

Jesus empowered people who were seen as lesser. He saw them as human and treated them with great respect. Becoming like Jesus is speaking up for those who can’t speak up for themself and empowering others. 

One way we can be more like Jesus, is to see the world through a good eye. Being negative effects our mood and our view of the world. Let's strive to look at everything with a good eye and see the world the way Jesus sees it.

1st century Jews would follow their rabbi so closely that they would be covered in their dust. They wanted to learn everything their rabbi knew and be like him. In this sermon series, we want to look at how we can follow Jesus so closely that people undoubtedly see him in us.

"Send me, God". This prayer is another one that can be challenging. It may seem exciting at first, but anxiety about not being good enough or anxiety about being chosen to do something that scares you can creep in and keep you from praying this prayer. God is ready to send you out, but how will you respond?
