Cs: Na Karlově mostě začal večer zářit barevnými světly.
En: On the Karlův most (Charles Bridge), the night began to glow with colorful lights.

Cs: Ve vzduchu byla cítit vůně jarního květu a kolem se šířila hudba a smích.
En: The scent of spring blossoms filled the air, and music and laughter spread around.

Cs: Most byl plný lidí, kteří si užívali teplý jarní večer a festival plný stánků s místními řemesly a jídlem.
En: The bridge was full of people enjoying a warm spring evening and a festival with stalls of local crafts and food.

Cs: Pod nohama hloubka Vltavy klidně proudila, zatímco historické sochy bedlivě sledovaly situaci.

En: The festival lights still illuminated their faces.

Cs: „Omlouvám se,“ začal Jan.
En: “I'm sorry,” Jan began.

Cs: „Nechtěl jsem ztratit naše přátelství kvůli tomu hloupému nedorozumění.
En: “I didn’t want to lose our friendship over that silly misunderstanding.

Cs: Chybíš mi.“ Marta se zhluboka nadechla.
En: I miss you.” Marta took a deep breath.

Cs: „Byla jsem naštvaná.
En: “I was angry.

Cs: Ale chci vědět, proč jsi udělal, co jsi udělal.
En: But I want to know why you did what you did.

Cs: Potřebuji tomu rozumět.“ Jan upřímně vysvětlil své pohnutky a chyby.
En: I need to understand it.” Jan honestly explained his motives and mistakes.

Cs: Marta ho poslouchala, chvílemi přikyvovala.
En: Marta listened, occasionally nodding.

Cs: Cítila, jak ji opouští hněv, nahrazený pochopením.
En: She felt her anger leaving, replaced by understanding.

Cs: Světla festivalu je obklopila jako ochranný kruh.
En: The festival lights surrounded them like a protective circle.

Cs: „Odpouštím ti,“ řekla nakonec Marta, když Jan skončil.
En: “I forgive you,” Marta said finally when Jan finished.

Cs: „Ale musíme na tom pracovat.“ Jan přikývl, úleva byla patrná na jeho tváři.
En: “But we have to work on it.” Jan nodded, relief evident on his face.

En: “Shall we try again?” he asked.

Cs: Marta se usmála.
En: Marta smiled.

En: “Yes.

Cs: Pro začátek, projdeme si stánky a připomeneme si staré časy.“ Ruku v ruce se ztratili v davu.
En: To start, let’s walk through the stalls and revisit old times.” Hand in hand, they disappeared into the crowd.

Cs: Bublina napětí mezi nimi zmizela.
En: The bubble of tension between them vanished.

Cs: Krásný jarní večer na Karlově mostě zůstal svědkem nového začátku.
En: The beautiful spring evening on Karlův most remained a witness to a new beginning.
