Story Transcript:

Sl: Veter in listje v zlato-rdečih odtenkih že od zgodnjega jutra plešeta nad starim mostom, ki se razteza čez smaragdno Sočo.
En: The wind and leaves in golden-red hues have been dancing above the old bridge spanning the emerald Soča since early morning.

Sl: Matej in Jasna hodita po škripajočih lesenih deskah, njuna sapa se meša s hladnim jesenskim zrakom.
En: Matej and Jasna walk across the creaky wooden planks, their breath mixing with the cold autumn air.

Sl: Matej je skrivaj opazoval življenje ob reki.
En: Matej was secretly observing the life by the river.

Sl: Rad je imel biologijo in komaj je čakal, da bo v živo videl ekosistem, o katerem je toliko bral.
En: He loved biology and could hardly wait to see the ecosystem he had read so much about in real life.

Sl: Jasna pa je bila navdušena nad zgodbo, ki jo bodo ustvarili skupaj.
En: Jasna, on the other hand, was excited about the story they were going to create together.

Sl: Njene oči so sijale, ko je govorila o tem, kako bi lahko povezali dejstva z magijo pripovedovanja.
En: Her eyes sparkled when she talked about how they could connect facts with the magic of storytelling.

Sl: "Matej, glej tisto ptico nad reko," reče Jasna, kazajoč na jato rac, ki je elegantno drsela po vodi.
En: "Matej, look at that bird above the river," Jasna said, pointing at the flock of ducks gracefully gliding across the water.

Sl: "Bi lahko to vključila v zgodbo?
En: "Could we include that in the story?"

Sl: ""Ja, ampak ne pozabiva na znanstveni del," Matej odgovori tiho, v mislih že sestavljal seznam vseh živali in rastlin, ki jih bosta lahko našla.
En: "Yes, but let's not forget the scientific part," Matej replied quietly, already mentally compiling a list of all the animals and plants they might find.

Sl: Zunanji svet jima je prinašal izzive.
En: The outside world brought them challenges.

Sl: Veter je bil močan, mrzel.
En: The wind was strong, cold.

Sl: Njuni zapiski in oprema so bili vseskozi na robu, da bi jih zalotil tok reke.
En: Their notes and equipment were constantly on the verge of being caught by the river's current.

Sl: Bilo je težavnejše, kot sta pričakovala.
En: It was more challenging than they had anticipated.

Sl: Na mostu, ob Soči, sta delala.
En: On the bridge, by the Soča, they worked.

Sl: Matej je imenoval vsak organizem, ki ga je prepoznal.
En: Matej named every organism he recognized.

Sl: Jasna je zapisovala detajle, dodajala barve v zgodbo: kako živali in rastline živijo skupaj, kako jih povezuje reka.
En: Jasna noted down the details, adding colors to the story: how animals and plants live together, how the river connects them.

Sl: Nenadoma je veter postrani zaloputnil, opremljene liste in kemične svinčnike je pognalo po mostu.
En: Suddenly, the wind slammed sideways, sending equipped notes and pens skittering across the bridge.

Sl: Oba sta planila, da bi jih ujela.
En: Both dashed to catch them.

Sl: Bilo je napeto, a uspelo jima je zagnati vse potrebne papirje nazaj v varnost torbe.
En: It was tense, but they managed to gather all the necessary papers back into the safety of their bag.

Sl: "Uff, to je bilo blizu," Jasna reče, smeječa se Mateju.
En: "Phew, that was close," Jasna said, laughing at Matej.

Sl: "Tvoja hitra reakcija je bila impresivna.
En: "Your quick reaction was impressive."

Sl: ""Samo dobro je, da sva delala skupaj," Matej se nasmehne nazaj.
En: "It's just good that we worked together," Matej smiled back.

Sl: Njuna skupna zgodba in znanje se prepletata in tako oživita projekt.
En: Their shared story and knowledge intertwined, bringing the project to life.

Sl: Ko se je dan končal, sta oba začela zelo ceniti drugo perspektivo.
En: As the day ended, both began to truly appreciate the other's perspective.

Sl: Matej je drugače videl Jasnino ustvarjalnost in Jasna je spoštovala Matejevo natančnost in umirjenost.
En: Matej saw Jasna's creativity differently, and Jasna respected Matej's precision and calmness.

Sl: "Torej, kako bo to izgledalo?
En: "So, how will it look?"

Sl: " vpraša Jasna.
En: Jasna asked.

Sl: "Kombinacija znanstvenega poročila in pripovedi," Matej predlaga, "lahko bova imela projekt, ki je edinstven in zanimiv.
En: "A combination of a scientific report and a narrative," Matej proposed, "we could have a project that's unique and interesting."

Sl: ""Ravnokar si ustvaril konec najine zgodbe," reče Jasna, "in ne morem si želeti boljšega.
En: "You've just created the ending to our story," Jasna said, "and I couldn't wish for a better one."

Sl: "Jesenska svetloba na trdnem mostu nad Sočo je postala mehkejša, ko Matej in Jasna zapustita kraj, z novim spoštovanjem za skupno delo in edinstvenost narave.
En: The autumn light on the sturdy bridge over the Soča became softer as Matej and Jasna left the place, with a new appreciation for collaboration and the uniqueness of nature.
