We all want to be liked by those around us, and some of us will say and do just about anything to make that happen. But if you're a Christian, and living like one, you will be hated. Jesus told us that, but He also told us that if we abide in Him, then all the world's hate cannot harm us!

Today on Bridging the Gap, we study John's gospel. We're in chapter fifteen, where we're urged by the Lord to abide in God's love. The world is going to be against you, the moment you declare your allegiance to Christ.

We're told in the Bible that what a man desires is unfailing love. Many today are searching for unfailing love, but are looking in all the wrong places for it. Today, Lloyd points out a few distinct aspects of God's love - which is certainly unfailing. The first characteristic is that it originates with Him. So, join us in John chapter fifteen, as we discover how to abide in God's love.

We're in the midst of a verse by verse study through John's gospel, and we've landed in chapter fifteen today. In this chapter, Jesus explains to His apostles the nature of His relationship with the Father and, in doing so, reveals the ideal relationship between the Father and us.
