God's intention for Fellowship is the topic today as pastor Lloyd continues his new series "Christian Growth and Development". If we are to truly grow and develop as believers in Christ, then belonging to a fellowship of Christian brothers and sisters will greatly enhance our walk.

Today pastor Lloyd continues his new series called "Christian Growth and Development", and he will once again be reminding us of the power to be found in the pages of the bible, and the ways we can put that power to work in our lives. We'll begin today in the book of Jeremiah.

As much as technology changes the way we do things, there's one thing that has never changed and never will change, and that's the truth and the power of God's word - the bible. Today, pastor Lloyd will remind us that there are a lot of scams and false teachings out there, but if we stick with God's perfect word, we'll never go wrong.

As we look at Matthew chapter four, we come across a scene that is familiar to most Christians. Jesus is fasting in the wilderness and is tempted repeatedly by satan. It's in this area of life we sometimes make a mistake. It's not a sin to be tempted - the sin comes when we succumb to that temptation! How did Jesus handle the temptation from satan?

Today on Bridging the Gap, we continue pastor Lloyd Pulley's series called "Christian Growth and Development". We'll be looking again at the final three verses of Matthew's gospel, where we see the Lord give His disciples their marching orders, as it were - go into all the world and make disciples.

There are many important aspects to being a Christian, and one of the most important things we do is share our faith with others. In fact, that's the very last thing Jesus told His disciples before He ascended to Heaven - go into all the world and make disciples. So.... how are you doing in this area?

The topic again today is prayer, and the great privilege we have to go before the Lord and share our hearts' desires. Prayer should not be a wish list, as if we were ordering Christmas gifts on Amazon. But what should prayer be? If we truly look at prayer as a great privilege, it will change the way we pray.

Have you ever considered prayer as a privilege? Too often we treat prayer as a means to tell God what we need materially, or as a last resort in times of trial. When we do that, we are completely missing the point. We'll start out today In Matthew seven

Today we'll return to the gospel of Matthew, chapter four, where we see Jesus spend forty days in the wilderness being tempted by satan. We can never expect to have the spotless record Jesus had when it comes to surviving temptation, but if we are to effectively lead the unsaved toward Christ, we need to rely on the strength and power of God!

Today we'll return to Lloyd's new series called "Christian Growth and Development", as we continue to learn how to make the power of the Holy Spirit a constant part of our lives. One way to make the power of the Holy Spirit a part of our lives is to understand the basics of who He is, where He comes from and what He's doing. I think you'll agree that of the three persons of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is the least understood. Stay with us as we get to know Him better!
