Today we continue pastor Lloyd's new series titled "Where in the World Are We?". Someone once said,"Discipline without freedom is tyranny. Freedom without discipline is chaos". No one knows this better than God. Discipline is an absolute necessity in our lives. As we look at Isaiah chapter five today we get a glimpse of discipline - discipline meted out to a people who didn't want to live within boundaries. Sound familiar?

God in all of His infinite wisdom decided on Israel to be His chosen people. He desired a relationship with them. Israel rebelled, only to discover that a relationship with God is not just a one way road. As we look around us, we see a world in the same situation Israel was in. You see, God has expectations for us. And the consequences of not meeting them are disastrous.

Pastor Lloyd Pulley is sharing a new series titled "Where in the World Are Were?", and we are currently in the book of Isaiah, where we see a nation in a very similar condition as we see around us today - coming under God's judgment because they are in sin.

We've just begun a new series from pastor Lloyd titled "Where in the World Are We?", focusing on the state of affairs we see around us inn the year 2023 - and what God's word says will happen when God finally judges the sin we see all around us, Our point of reference today will be the book of Isaiah.

"Where in the World Are We?". Ever ask that question? Before GPS, we asked that question a lot when we were driving in a strange town, but the context we will consider today is where we are as a people - globally, nationally and locally. Our world is spinning out of control in the area of sin, and there seems to be no end in sight. Pastor Lloyd will remind us today that there actually is an end in sight, when God judges the world.

Today Lloyd begins a new mini-series titled "Where In The World Are We?" That's a question every Christian should consider as we look around us and see the depraved state of our nation. What once was thought of as wrong is now right, and anyone who espouses a biblical world view is considered an intolerant bigot. In our first message, pastor Lloyd will use the words of the prophet Haggai to remind us of the dangers of compromise in the Christian church
