Lt: Rytas buvo šiltas ir šviesus, kai Rūta ir Darius pasiekė garsųjį Kryžių kalną Lietuvoje.
En: The morning was warm and bright as Rūta and Darius reached the famous Hill of Crosses in Lithuania.

Lt: Jų kelionė buvo dalis šeimos tradicijos, kuria Rūta tikėjo, kad užaugins naują prasmę jų gyvenime.
En: Their journey was part of a family tradition, which Rūta believed would bring a new meaning to their lives.

Lt: Darius, jam tai buvo tiesiog praeities dalis, kurios jis nenorėjo.

Lt: Kai jie artinosi prie Kryžių kalno, saulė ilsėjosi ant jų pečių, mesdama ilgas šešėlių linijas per tūkstančius kryžių.

Lt: Kiekvienas kryžius čia turėjo savo istoriją, savo tikėjimą ir reikšmę.

Lt: Jam buvo svarbu ne tik kartoti tradiciją, bet ir suprasti, kodėl jis tai daro.

Lt: Ji norėjo rasti tikrumą, bet tą dieną jausmai, kuriuos ji laikė užgniaužusi, pasipylė.

Lt: „Aš noriu rasti prasmę, o ne tik aklai sekti tradiciją“, - Rūta pagaliau pratarė, tylesniu balsu.

Lt: Darius pažvelgė į ją su susirūpinimu.
En: Darius looked at her with concern.

Lt: „Galbūt mes abu galime rasti naują prasmę kartu?

Lt: Aš noriu suprasti, bet ir eiti savo keliu.
En: I want to understand but also forge my own path."

Lt: “Jų žodžiai aidėjo tarp kryžių, kur šimtai kitų prieš juos taip pat buvo mąstę apie gyvenimo tikslą.
En: Their words echoed among the crosses, where hundreds before them had also reflected on life's purpose.

Lt: Tai buvo akimirka, kai abu, pagaliau, pradėjo vienas kitą girdėti.
