The Phoenix Suns suffered another gut-wrenching loss at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies Monday night and Sean Sullivan and Dave King both join the show this week to help dissect the root of Phoenix's late game struggles. The Suns will need to make improvements closing out games and competing against the top teams in the Western Conference in order to make the playoffs, but are they making progress towards that goal? Gerald Green has seen his role severely diminished lately. Is he on his way out the door, and should coach Jeff Hornacek tighten the rotation or give a younger player such as T.J. Warren or Archie Goodwin a chance to earn some of those minutes? We also talk a little bit of the competition the Suns will face as the All-Star break and stretch run are coming right around the corner.

Dave King joins the show as the Super Bowl descends upon the city of Phoenix (Glendale). The Suns had a fairly rough week and a mind-boggling third buzzer beater loss in a 23 game stretch. The Suns have been struggling against the top heavy Western Conference and internally with technical fouls, while coach Hornacek has struggled with effective discipline. The Morris brothers, who have been on the wrong end of a lot of those technical fouls, also had an off-court incident. Continuing with the struggling theme, the Suns might get shut out of representation at the All-Star game.

Sean Sullivan is the guest of honor this week and joins me in discussing the red hot, trade happy Phoenix Suns. The Suns had a light week, but swept a pair of games... including one that gave them a season sweep over the hapless Lakers. We talk about the next potential ex-Suns, Miles Plumlee and Gerald Green among others, as Ryan McDonough continues to wheel and deal. We wrap things up by speculating on whether the streaking Suns are really coming into their own facing a daunting stretch of games against the league's best. Sean also calls out Isaiah's boy Floyd Mayweather for dodging Manny Pacquiao.

Dave King joins the show to discuss the week in review that included a thriller against the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers. We discuss Phoenix's rampant problem with technical fouls and a heated exchange that occurred between Marcus Morris and coach Jeff Hornacek. The Suns also made a big trade last week that brought big man Brandan Wright into the fold. We finish up with some analysis of the team's performance in close games and look ahead at a 19 day homestand.
