  • The Sanctity of Every Life
Today, as we reflect on the dedication of little Andrew Salvador Noriega Jr., we are reminded of the sanctity of every life. From the very moment of conception, each life is sacred, planned, and valued by God. John the Baptist was sacred before his birth. An angel told his father Zachariah, 'Your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. He will be a joy and a delight to you.' (Luke 1:13-14)

Each child is a unique masterpiece designed by God, carrying a blend of their parents' souls and God's image. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding their birth, every life has an irreplaceable value and purpose. God has unique plans for each of us, and He honors the care and dedication we provide to our children. Let us embrace our roles in nurturing and supporting each soul God places in our lives, acknowledging their worth from the womb to the tomb.

  • Humility in the Kingdom of Heaven

In Matthew 18:1-10, Jesus teaches His disciples about the importance of humility. He calls a child to stand before them and declares that anyone who wants to be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven must humble themselves like a child. He goes further to say that welcoming a child in His name is akin to welcoming Him. This passage emphasizes the value Jesus places on humility and the innocence of children. It is a stark reminder that our faith must be simple and pure, untainted by pride or self-righteousness. As we go through our daily lives, let us strive to embody the humility and openness of a child, making room for God's guidance and presence in every aspect of our existence. Reflect on areas in your life where pride may have crept in, and ask God to help you cultivate a heart of humility.
