Meet Shara Jenkins, a beacon of resilience and creativity. Her journey intertwines the roles of a disabled woman, a triumphant cancer survivor, a published author, a devoted mother and grandmother, a vibrant artist, and a passionate performer. She's also a diligent small business owner, an occasional content creator, and proudly neurodivergent.
Shara's professional path winds through three decades in health
policy and program delivery, embracing various roles. Her unique
perspective as an administrator, advocate, carer, and patient, especially with her own complex mental and physical health needs, has given her a multifaceted understanding of the health system.
Shara's lived experience as both a parent and carer of children
with extra needs, while balancing work, family management, and
her own health struggles, has endowed her with deep empathy
and insight. She is adept at supporting people from varied backgrounds, including those with disabilities, gender and sexuality diversities, and different cultural heritages.
Shara was diagnosed with ADHD just over two years ago and it changed her world! And everything became clear! She finally
knows what she wants to be when she grows up!
