Pastors and Elders have the same qualifications. Most churches never look at them.

Many Churches don't have Elders. They don't even know they need them.

There is no mandate in the New Testament for Elders. For that matter, there is no mandate for Deacons or even Pastors. Yet, Elders are mentioned twenty-two times in the New Testament as an office. Why are they absent in many churches?

There are many metaphors for the Bible. How about this one? The Bible is God's recipe book for making His people. God treats each of us different to make us into the people He desires. Yet, He also uses patterns. Let's take a look at those.

Why do we have so much trouble bringing our friends and family to Christ? Can't they see?
