On this weeks episode we get a little crazy and hit each other with ten questions we have to answer quickly and vulnerably! For those of you who have heard our lives (before the gram required you to have over 1000 followers!) B&K used to show up each week vulnerable and wild! This little ep is essentially like that but on steroids and will have you cackling in the car (or wherever you listen to your poddies)
We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!
We believe that vulnerable stories are the centrepiece to human connection. Today we're get real about our biggest challenges and therefore our lessons, during postpartum and peri-menopause.
During the episode you'll hear:
💬 Krysten expresses her struggles having to relearn how her body felt, responded and looked postpartum. Despite the struggles, it not only strengthened her relationship with herself but also with her husband.
💬 Bec bravely shared her experiences with postpartum depression. Chats around making, moving and operating from a place that suits you and your baby should be your only concern.
💬 Krysten provides her with thoughts on peri-menopause from a bystander's perspective. Given she has not yet hit this stage of her journey, she shares the importance of open communication and education within the family during this time.
💬 Bec rips it open with her very current and real experience of starting her peri-menopause journey; she’s on the other side of the consulting table now! Focusing on curating her world is super important right now. From what she’s eating, her hydration, who she spends time with and what content she engages in...it’s all being scrutinised.
If you’re feeling alone and scared, unsure if you’re the only one going through the challenges in postpartum or peri-menopause, this episode is for you!
We believe that vulnerable stories are the centrepiece to human connection. Today we’re diving into some of our biggest challenges and therefore our lessons, during 2 of the most vulnerable times as a woman; puberty and pregnancy.
During the episode you’ll hear:
Krysten’s truth on how she hated the ‘kiss and tell’ experiences as a teenager. But ultimately she learnt that being true to yourself will carry you through any of life’s challenges.
Bec experienced a really deep shift after she started her menstrual cycle and there was an overnight division between her and her male friends; which she really disliked.
The pregnancy challenge for Krysten was how she felt like she was expected to carry on as if there wasn’t a massive physical and mental shift happening.
Bec experienced years of struggle in conceiving and felt like conceiving was painted out as a given right for women. Yet, here she was not falling pregnant straight away.

In this episode of Bringing Vulnerability Back, Bec and Krysten dive deep into the often unspoken fear that comes with growth, whether it’s personal, professional, or emotional. Growth sounds exciting, but it can also feel uncomfortable, uncertain, and even scary. We unpack why stepping into the next version of yourself can trigger fear, self-doubt, and resistance, and how vulnerability plays a powerful role in navigating these moments.
Through honest conversation and personal stories, we explore:
✨ Why fear shows up when we’re on the cusp of change
✨ The ways we self-sabotage to avoid discomfort
✨ How to embrace the messy middle between where you are and where you’re going
✨ Practical tips for moving through fear with self-compassion and courage
If you’ve ever felt stuck between wanting more and fearing what “more” might mean, this episode will remind you that you’re not alone, and that growth, while scary, is where the magic happens.
In this third episode of Bringing Vulnerability Back, Krysten and Bec explore what it truly means to live with heart-led energy.
With their signature honesty and depth, they unpack how leading from the heart can transform the way we show up in our relationships, decisions, and sense of self. They reflect on the courage it takes to trust your inner wisdom, especially in a world that often values logic over feeling.
This is a conversation about alignment, embodiment, and the quiet power of choosing what feels right even when it defies expectations.
A gentle nudge from this ep:
You don’t have to prove yourself to lead with strength.
Sometimes, the softest energy is the most powerful.
In this second episode of Bringing Vulnerability Back, Krysten and Bec dive even deeper into the journey of coming home to yourself.
Together, they explore what it looks like to strip away the expectations, beliefs, and versions of self that were built to please others - and instead begin living in alignment with who you truly are. Through raw and honest storytelling, they share moments from their own lives that challenged them to choose themselves, again and again.
This conversation is a reminder that coming home to yourself isn’t always neat or easy - but it is always worth it. It’s about honouring the truth within, even when it goes against what the world expects.
A gentle nudge from this ep:
You don’t have to live the life others have scripted for you. The most powerful thing you can do is choose you.

Welcome to the very first podcast episode!
In this ep, Krysten and Bec get vulnerable with how they have come to know who they are and the life experiences that challenged them into each new version of themselves.
Unique and perfectly themselves, they have journeyed through mental health struggles, criticism and sabotage, a ripping open of oneself from becoming a mother for the first time, navigating careers and all the challenges of forging their own path. One dominant aspect of their life so far, was that they had self-trust to guide them.
