  • Sunday September 1, 2024 - A Generational Kingdom

The power of generational impartation and growth is essential. Scripture is clear on the potential for cursing or blessing the next generation. This week, Pastor David will discuss the role and importance of multigenerational connectivity in the Gospel, the receiving of blessings from our fathers and mothers, and the importance of the involvement in the next generation.
“Then Jacob called for his sons and said: “Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come. “Assemble and listen, sons of Jacob; listen to your father Israel.”” Genesis 49:1-2

  • Sunday August 25th - It is VERY Good

God made the heavens and the earth and He said it was good. God made man and the Sabbath and He said it was very good.
In the days we are living in, the world attempts to make us feel that everything we have, everything we do, is simply not good enough. It is this spirit which robs the Believer from experiencing the fullness of the Joy of the Lord.
This Sunday, Pastor David will teach on how we guard ourselves from the spirit of ungratefulness and live in the Joy of the Lord.
“Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31 See less

  • Sunday August 18th - The Priesthood of the Believer

A radical view: One Priest, Jesus, the Son of God. No longer a separation. No longer the need for any High Priest outside of Jesus.
What does this mean in a biblical context? What does this say about a New Testament Believer?
This Sunday, Pastor David will teach on the roles of the priestly class in scripture, how this ancient role was and is fulfilled through Jesus, and how we now participate in the Spirit.
“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

  • Sunday August 11th - The Trees Do Not Groan

Editor's Note: This is an extended cut of Sunday service; we experienced a miraculous time of worship after the sermon where a woman was healed of tumors on her spine. if you would like to listen to the whole service check out out YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/live/cPrIEGl2aW4

This week, Pastor David continues with his discussion on Psalms 1 relating it to “abiding in the vine” of John 15. The trees which abide by the living water have a powerful story and illustration of the power of the Gospel and in taking the Land of Promise!
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:1

  • Sunday August 4th - Wrestling with God - Guest Minister Peace Ike

“Lord, how long shall I cry for help and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save?”
We’ve all been here before. We’ve stood in a place of desperation and exhaustion as we plead with God to deliver us from our trial. Habakkuk knew this feeling well. A man with many questions and challenges, he models for us what it looks like to faithfully “wrestle” with God. In this short book of the minor prophets, we will learn that we are not only invited into this wrestling process, but God desires to meet with us here. This week, join us as Peace Ike dives into the stages of contending with God and emerging with revelation that will serve to deepen our journey with the Lord.

  • Sunday July 28th - The Tension Between Trees and Wander

salm 1 is a beautiful reminder of the Lord’s promises seasoned with bucolic imagery. In the age of transience and speed, let us be encouraged by the faithful steadfastness of the spiritual realities of a tree planted by living waters. As we study, let us learn how to bring forth fruit in its season, and bear leaves even during the seasons of challenge.
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
    Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalms 1:1-3

  • Sunday July 21 - The Wooden Beams of The Gospel

During and after the fire that reveals, it is time to build. The Kingdom seeks for the builders to arise. This week Pastor David discusses the main beams of the Gospel.
“And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we dwell with you is too small for us. 2 Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell.”
So he answered, “Go.”” 2 Kings 6 1-2

  • Sunday July 14th - From 40 to 41

“After Moses committed murder, he hid in the desert for 40 years. Year 41 came, and God gave Moses a second chance—commissioning him to rescue Israel from slavery in Egypt.
After the Exodus, the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Year 41 came, and a new generation entered the Promised Land.
For 40 days, Goliath bullied and taunted Israel, just begging for someone to come fight him. Day 41 came, and David stepped up and slew the giant.
For 40 days, Jonah delivered a message of doom and gloom to the city of Nineveh—that God was going to destroy them because of their wickedness. Day 41 came, and God changed his mind and instead extended mercy because the Ninevites had responded and repented.
After being baptized in the Jordan River, Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days and was tempted by the devil. Day 41 came, the devil fled, angels showed up, and Jesus launched his monumental ministry.
The pattern is clear. The number 41 represents the dawn of a new day — the hope and promise that if you don’t quit, the rain will stop, the giant will fall, and you will enter your “promised land.””

  • Sunday June 30th - The Various Shades of Pride

Different translations use different words to translate the Hebrew word that describes what the Lord detests.
In some, the English is “haughty eyes”, in others, it is a “proud look”. Yet, the root of them all is the Essence of Pride!
Pride is a detestable thing before the Lord. It is what caused Lucifer to fall. It is the sin that attempts to place man above God. Pride is manifested in various ways, and is formed through various experiences. Simply, it is formed when mankind attempts to sit above the Lord in authority.
This week, Pastor David will teach on the various shades or forms of pride and how we can resist this human desire.
“There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him haughty eyes,
a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.” Proverbs 6:16-19
