Queen Elizabeth's Tilbury Camp Speech is one of the most famous speeches of all time but was the timing suspect? 

Did you know that it wasn't spoken at Tilbury Fort but at Tilbury Camp? (I make an attempt to find the site - see what happens.)

Archbishop Cranmer was burned at the stake on 21st March 1556 ostensibly guilty of heresy but, I would argue, Queen Mary also had a personal reason to punish Cranmer.
