This is the very first 'electronic music' mixtape I ever made, in late 1996. It was the first time I mixed songs that didn't have "vocals" in it - a major change in the scene here in São Paulo.

Setup: Mixer Gemini PMX 15-A, CDJ Gemini 9800 and Pioneer Tape Deck.

Tracklist:

01 - Born Slippy - Underworld

02 - On & On - General Base

03 - Belíssima - Dj Quicksilver

04 - Higher State of Consciousness - Josh Wink

05 - Ping Pong - Object One

06 - Insomnia - Faithless

07 - Freed from Desire - Gala

1996, the year I started djing, was very unusual: during its first half, it was all about high-energy dance music...and then, all of a sudden, electronic music (a.k.a "music with no vocals") arrived in Brazil with Robert Miles and changed the landscape completely. This mixtape brings a lot of vocals ;-)

The 3rd mix of our Sunset Sessions compilation brings vibes from our last trip to California, where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets with great music. A 2h-journey full of melodic & deep house, all mixed by bro2bro + our big friend Digs. Enjoy!

This low bpm house set was recorded during our day-set @ Casa Clube, a beach club in Trancoso / Brazil. Cool and elegant, Beach Sessions will hopefully make you feel the ocean breeze along with the scent of the limes of your caipirinha ;-)
