  • Anniversary Collection vol. 15 - Electro
Electro has been quite popular in Brazil since the beginning of the 2000’s, partly due to French DJ Vitalic who used to come here often. With its great vintage touch thanks to the use of analog synthesizers, it resembles the 80’s sound but with a faster BPM. During a 2hs non-stop mix, “Electro” compiles both old classics and new productions from masters such as Vitalic, Giorgio Moroder, Slam, Steve Angello, Anthony Rother, M83 and Jean Michel Jarre, among others. Highly recommended for fans of the “Stranger Things” series soundtrack.

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 14 - Melodic Trance
Trance has been out there for no more than 25 years, and yet, it’s been able to gather millions of addicts from all over the world. Within MixMag annual top-10 DJ ranking, half of it could be easily composed by Trance DJs, people like Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren or Tiesto, just to mention a few. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve developed a special connection with this genre, as it has been able to transport me to far-away journeys of imagination, insight and great reflection; and that’s exactly what this 14th set of my 20th Anniversary Collection is all about. During a 2hs non-stop journey, “Melodic Trance” compiles only the finest of Euphoria, including early 2000’s classics, new remixes of anthems and also recent tunes from masters such as Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Andrew Bayer, Thomas Datt and Chicane, among others. Energetically recommended for long car-rides, running sessions or sunset contemplation!

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 13 - Early 2k's Dance
In the 13th set of my 20th Anniversary Collection, I tried to recollect some fine vocal house tunes that I used to play in São Paulo in the beginning of the 2000’s. During a 90min non-stop mix, “Early 2k’s Dance” brings dance classics from DB Boulevard, Junior Jack, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lasgo, Bob Sinclar, Milk & Sugar and Kylie Minogue, among others. Highly recommended for sing-along party people!

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 12 - Early 2k's Techno
The 12th set of my 20th Anniversary Collection travels back to the Techno nights and parties that used to take place in São Paulo in the beginning of the 2000’s. One of the finest nights dedicated to that style, Technova, occurred every Friday at the famous Lov.e club, led by underground legend Dj Mau Mau. “Early 2k’s Techno” is about paying tribute to that unique style that could present itself sometimes more melodic with French master Agoria, or sometimes more industrial with Green Velvet, but always mind-blowing and great to dance to. This 90min non-stop mix brings timeless classics from techno-stars such as The Chemical Brothers, Renato Cohen, Laurent Garnier, Marco Bailey, Fun D’Void and Underworld, among others. Strongly advised for hardcore party people!

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 11 - Early 2k's House
The 11th set of my 20th Anniversary Collection tries to recapture the sound of the early 21st century at clubs.“Early 2k’s House” contains timeless house classics from the likes of Mylo, Roger Sanchez, Kings of Tomorrow, X-Press 2, Rui da Silva, Junior Jack and Groove Armada, among others. It also includes nothing less than the #1 dance hit from the MixMag all-time ranking “One More Time”, a smash anthem that has been played non-stop for over 16 years in all kinds of parties…yeap, you heard it right, I did say 16 years! ;-)

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 10 - Late 90's Dance
Having reached the first half of my 20th Anniversary Collection, this will be the last set bringing songs from the 90’s decade or before. In “Late 90’s Dance”, I tried to recollect vocal house songs that I used to play a lot during my first parties at FGV University, in 1999. During a 90min non-stop mix, you will find hits from Gigi d’Agostino, Fragma, Ultra Naté, Whitney Houston and Cher, among others. Strongly recommended for fans of good old dance music…que comece la fiesta!

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 09 - Late 90's Raving
The year is 1999 and I had just entered university. While many people were preparing themselves for the end of the world, I was with some good friends at a Techno rave in Camburi beach. By watching all the craziest dudes ever dancing to that dark fast-paced acid techno music that dj D.A.V.E The Drummer was playing, I could indeed picture the world ending after the next song…so that’s what the 9th set from my 20th anniversary collection, “Late 90’s Raving”, is all about.
In retrospect, it seems crazy now that we were able to enjoy such hardcore, almost violent songs, but there was clearly a dark side of clubbing emerging by the end of the millennium, and raves were the perfect atmosphere to feel and share that rebellious energy.
So for those who are brave enough to face this non-stop mix, even if as a motivational tool for aerobics workout, you will find hard techno and acid anthems from Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk and The Prodigy, among others.
Warning: not recommended for sensitive people and children! ;-)

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 08 - Early 90's Raving
The two next sets from my 20th anniversary collection are about raving during the 90’s decade. “Early 90’s Raving” was actually inspired by the beautiful Moby autobiography, in which he passionately describes the ambiance that gave birth to electronic music in NYC. Although I was too young to be part of that movement, I wanted to pay tribute to the rise of the raving culture, by bringing together oldskool house and techno anthems that rocked early clubbing scene in the very first years of the 90’s decade. During this long mix, you will find, for instance, 10 songs within the 50 included in the Mixmag all-time dance ranking, hits from artists such as Derrick May, Frankie Knuckles, Underworld, Moby, Ritchie Hawtin and Orbital, among many others who were just in the beginning of their careers by then. Strongly advised for those who may be over 40 now, but will surely be able to travel back in time to feel how special this period was.

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 07 - EuroDance
In the 7th set of my 20th anniversary collection, I wanted to bring back together the best of Euro Dance. This music style, best known in Brazil as "Poperô" due to the song ‘Pump up the Jam’, was especially famous in dance floors during my teenage times, between 1992 and 1996. The ‘EuroDance’ Mega Mix brings tunes from the finest artists and dance acts of that period, including Nicki French, Whigfield, Masterboy, Ace of Base, Haddaway, Mc Sar & The Real McCoy, Double You, Ice MC, Right Said Fred and Undercover, among many others. Strongly advised for those who used to go to Resumo da Opera and Krypton clubs, performing all the synchronized dance moves while holding their popcorn and guaraná.

  • Anniversary Collection vol. 06 - 70's ReWorked
The 6th set of my 20th anniversary collection is about disco anthems revisited into house versions. Those are songs that still rock all kinds of dance-floors, being especially successful at wedding parties. During 90 minutes of a non-stop mix, “70’s ReWorked” brings all-time favorites from disco-days stars such as Barry White, Elton John, Blondie, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart and Marvin Gaye, among others. Strongly recommended for those who want to revisit Travolta’ moves.
