Started things off tonight with a little Vancouver Folk Music Festival 'post-mortem' and also talked about the upcoming Mission Folk Music Festival. Roger McGuinn, founding member of the Byrds (who continues to have a solo career) turned 70 last Friday. Woody Guthrie, as we all probably know by now, had a well-publicized centenary on Saturday. We paid musical tribute to both gentlemen this warm summer evening.
