Brandon and Evan return! To ramble about what they’ve been up to, and why there’s no Season Four yet…

It’s been a busy time in the bunker, as hosts Brandon and Evan have been up to a variety of Stuff and Things. This liminal, whetting your whistle episode discusses our upcoming novels, how we’re feeling in early 2022, and some of our plans for the future. Fear not! There *will* be more Broadcasts later – it’s all a question of when.

The computer is getting snippy and calling everything “classified” or “redacted.” While we debug, enjoy our final Season 3 episode with award-winning CBC journalist Adrian Harewood and acclaimed author and journalist Waubgeshig Rice, discussing their long friendship, activism, systematic change, and how they stay hopeful.

No matter what Brandon says, there are skeletal deer out and about, and they ain’t going away. So naturally we’re talking about horrifying deer facts with authors and community organizers KT Bryski and Cortni Fernandez, but we also discuss building community, how to know it’s time to step back, and more. Spirits are trying to break into the bunker! Are they friend or foe? Meanwhile, we discuss panel kaiju and pro wrestling with Tracy Townsend and John Wiswell, and how not to hold a Hugo Award like a penis. Plus Brandon gets a cookie delivery on air!
